Chompers...

Last Friday when I was feeding Brady his Pears (which he loves!) I noticed that he was biting down on the spoon which was unusual. When he was finished and I washed him down (as he is a VERY messy eater!) I took a look around and saw a little tooth poking through the bottom gum and another one not too far behind. On Saturday the 2nd tooth came through. He is a little bothered by the new teeth but is handling it very well, we only had a couple crying/screaming fits.

Starting New Things

Being a Stay at Home Mommy has its advantages...I am putting some of my creative juices to work and hoping to bring in a little extra income. I have opened a store on Etsy.com a place to showcase handmade goodies, if you have never been to the site check it out their are some very creative people out there selling their goods. On the right-hand side of my blog there is a showcase gallery of some of the items I have for sale online, take a look and let me know what you think...and I think you will like name of the store...BabyChunkMonk...Keep checking back as I will be adding new items when I can, right now I just have burp cloths online, but will soon be adding hair bows.

Cereal, Sweet Potatoes & Bananas...Oh My!

After a couple weeks of trying cereal and finally getting the hang of it last week, we decided to add another first food...Sweet Potatoes! And as you can see in the pictures he loved them! On Sunday afternoon, while at Granny's house, Mom exploded the Sweet Potatoes in the microwave, but fortunately Aunt Laurie had left some of Amy's mashed Bananas in the freeze so we decided to try those, he inhaled them as fast as could get them to his mouth. He is definitely a healthy eater!

4 Months and not sure about cereal

On the 2nd Brady turned 4 Months Old...My how time flies by...
Well we tried cereal and as you tell from the picture more was on him the he actually ate, but it was a start. After 3 days of trying and still not understanding the new eating process we decided to wait a few more days to try again.
